Room 4 Tuesday from 09:30 til 12:30

The way users access the internet has changed. With the huge improvement of smartphones and mobile devices, millions of people from around the world are now using internet a lot more on a mobile device than on a desktop.

You have a web site and you want to reach more mobile users, so you planned to crate a mobile app for that, have you considered a Progressive Web App?

During this session, we'll see why PWA in some cases should be considered as a serious alternative to native mobile apps.

Along live coding sessions, we are going to explain the baseline of a PWA and we are going to show how to combine existing HTML5 features to create a native-app-like user experiences (Service Worker, Cache, Push Notifications, Offline Storage, Background sync...).
